Exciting News – Passive Solar Auditorium Coming Soon to Rainbow School

Rainbow School is delighted to announce a significant milestone in its development! We have received confirmation of financial support from the Tibetan Children's Education Foundation (TCEF), Montana, USA, in addition to APECIH funding, and have launched a collaboration with the Himalayan Institute of Alternative Learning (HIAL), Ladakh, which will provide technical expertise for the construction of a multi-purpose, passive solar, and weather-resistant auditorium.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed between TCEF, APECIH, HIAL, and Rainbow School to mark the beginning of this collaborative project. The HIAL architectural team recently made their first visit to our campus to discuss the design plan and site direction. The execution phase of the TCEF/APECIH/HIAL/Rainbow School auditorium project will begin soon. This center will not only serve as a cultural and educational hub but also reflect our commitment to sustainable and climate-friendly infrastructure in Ladakh.
