Rainbow School News - April 2025

From April 19 to 22, the Zanskar and Ladakh regions received heavy and untimely snowfall of about 45 cm. Due to the hot climate, the snow began to melt quickly, damaging homes, as most houses in Zanskar are built with stone walls and mud roofs. Due to the heavy snowfall, schools were closed for another week.
With the improvement in the weather, the school day begins with a morning assembly, during which we pray to the Almighty. Students present current events, tell jokes and anecdotes, recite nursery rhymes, and ask general knowledge questions to improve their oral expression and gain confidence in public speaking.
